I think we're talking about different things. By 'discharge' I assumed the poster meant 'coming'. Girls can come in the same way that guys do, it just takes far more finesse than it would for men. Sounds like I'm pointing out something really obvious but the poster sounded like he didn't have a clue.

Right yeah okay two different things, that's why I said it depends what you mean by discharge

By "coming" did you meant orgasm ? Cos I did meant discharge as some form of liquid coming out.
This sounds like a bit much really, I prefer to leave it a few days and have a bit of a binge ^_^ I don't think that desensitises it as much as doing it 2-3 times every day without fail, but you might need to alter this if you're in a relationship.

Coming as in a substantial amount of liquid being released as a result of continuous stimulation. Like with a penis. Not the liquid that comes about after arousal and lubricates the vagina. That was cringy to write.

Hence the reason I used the word discharge which ultimately caused confusion.
The chemical release in itself does not cause addiction but add in chronic overconsumption and it does. This is a well documented effect now. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18293355 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16957076 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2970635/ The discovery of deltaFosB in mediating compulsion in substance and behaviour addictions as well as controlling natural needs like food and sex shows that any behaviour or substance can be addictive. Obviously some are more addictive than others and some substances have a physical dependency/tolerance aspect as well. There is no point in us continuing this point until you read up on it. Overconsumption is directly shown by the overexpression of deltaFosB. That is the entire point of this discovery. But beyond that, no-one knows much about it yet.
I never said just using it a lot, eating a lot of popcorn etc means you're addicted. But if you chronically overconsume it you develop addiction related brain changes. What might start out as pleasurable may turn into an addiction though popcorn isn't usually enough to do the trick... (no variety for one). Even on meth these uncontrollable urges don't happen from day 1, they develop over time with chronic overconsumption. This is pretty much what you said so I'm not sure how you made the point that natural urges can't be addictive.
Of course you get withdrawals if you don't eat food and are not addicted. You get cranky, feel light-headed and if you don't do it for days, you die. In terms of physical dependence, every substance has it's own extension of withdrawals from what the reward system provides. I'm arguing a point that has already been accepted by the scientific community here.
What arbitrary number? Where have I given numbers? I said that imo 2-3 times a day is too much and that we don't know anything because current research is insufficient.
There is no classification of addiction to porn because it's a relatively new phenomenon which no-one wants to study properly because of the politics around it, but as a guess I would say deltaFosB, D2 receptor levels, genre escalation and erection quality outside of porn. It's naive to think it's not possible to be an addict whilst keeping a relatively normal life outside...
You have no idea if average Joe has been affected by porn. Our generation has grown up with it. To paraphrase, it's like asking a fish what it thinks of life on the surface.
Less than 20% hard drug users are addicted so how can you expect porn addiction, a behavioural addiction, to be higher? You don't know there aren't millions addicted since you take the incorrect psychological perspective that an addiction requires negative outward symptoms to be an addiction. deltaFosB disproves that.

You wrote 'Is there any discharge when its orgasm ? Cos usually girls don't.' to which I answered yes and no, which is correct. I don't see where the confusion lies.
