what is meant by 'qualification date' ?

i'm on the ucas site filling in my application. for my gcse's which i did in june, is my qualification date august (results day) or june?

if it's not august, does it matter if i say i got my qualification in june when my actual exam was on, say, may? i really can't be bothered putting effort into finding specific exam dates

When I applied, I was told it was the date that the exams were 'certified', i.e. August.

its just august and then whatever year you did them in.
