Finally, someone else that has watched it! It scared the hell out of me as a kid. :ashamed2:

I saw Senna last night, SO good... He's such an inspiring driver to watch. The soundtrack was brilliant, and unlike various other documentaries on him you felt a real empathy for all his frustrations, victories etc. I recommend it 100%.
Taking Woodstock 8/10
Quite liked it
black swan... 8/10.

ive seen it before... but i still found it creepy! and it actually makes me scared of mirrors, everytime i saw a mirror, id hide pre-emptively!

the final scene is beautiful though. natalie portman is too damn talented.
The Mechanic - 6.5/10

Good but not brilliant.
Leaving Las Vegas. I laughed, I rewound bits, I shuddered, I moped all day. 9/10. Firmly cemented in my new top 5, but could've done without Sera's therapy sessions. Didn't find them especially interesting and it felt a bit cliched as a technique.

Rewatched the first half of Closer. Still think the script should have been de-theatre-ised a bit for film, but it's still great and by God Natalie Portman makes a fantastic stripper.

The Illusionist  when I first watched it I thought 8/10 but now 7/10... I just wish they hadn't left it so vague!
