ce - masculine

cette- feminine

cet - masculine but proceeding noun starts with a vowel or a vowel sound

Eg Cet homme - this man.
ce is masculine, cette is feminine

cet is used when the word is masculin, but starts with a vowel or a h....eg cet homme
and use ces if its mpl or fpl

It's very simple ^^

Ce is masculine and is used for masculine nouns beginning with consonants e.g. ce piano

Cet is also for masculine and is used for masculine nouns beginning with a vowel or sometimes a silent 'h' e.g. cet ordinateur, or cet homme

Cette is for feminine nouns in general e.g. cette table

And then theres 'ces' which you haven't mentionned: it's just for plural

Hope that's helped!
