how many weeks are there in the first year of university?

Hi

I wanted to know how many weeks the first year is for undergrads, its asking me for this information on my ammendment of my student fianance
depends on the university, most have 3, 10 week terms i think.

go on your university website and look at the term dates.

my accommodation is for 40 weeks, but i gues that includes holidays. So yeah, around 30

it should be 36 weeks as thats what my accomodation costs were for (it would be 40 weeks if you left your stuff at the uni during easter)

EDIT: or think about it this way: 52 weeks in a year - 4 week christmas - 4 week easter - 8 week summer = 36 weeks :smile:
