does anyone have the january 2012 paper for unit 1?
Reply 93
im doing my A2 in June but im resitting this, and trust me guys it really helps to do well on the as course because its a lot harder next year for you lot! i got 84/120 in education last year and to get my place at Durham university i need AAB, at the moment i need 109/120 without a resit... SO DO WELL! but ive been advised by my teacher that marxism is a strong possibility, its not hard to know but you've gotta throw in some neo marxism as well which is Giroux, Willis and possibly Althusser.

also finally from people in my class, two of which got 120/120 UMS they said just learn the textbook/revison guide inside out with studies and key details and you'll be fine. good luck everyone!

My teacher said to use it like this:

'Unstructured interviews are beneficial because they allow a deep and meaningful understanding of subjects's feeling (known as Verstehen).'
