Congratulations potential NTU Fresher 2012!
Yes you'll love it here the lecturers are very good at teaching (and helping).
Also social wise, you get to meet lots of different people (some are weird in a good way, some are not)
I don't know what I'm going to do for second year arrrghhh! :/ So far I've passed quite a few pieces of coursework for some of the modules (quite high marks
), but first year doesn't count towards the degree I don't think which is a pain but need 40% to pass the whole year to get through to the second year. Don't worry about the workload coursework wise, you'll get 1 for Introduction to Social Policy, 2 for Working with People, 1 for Concepts of Equality and Diversity, 2 for Skills for Study and Practice (and an online referencing test), 2 for Foundations in Health and Social Care and 1 for Individual in Society. There are 3 exams altogether, there might be what they call a "seen" exam which means that you will get to see the exam a month in advance.
If you need to know anything else just keep quoting me
EDIT: Oh and forgot to ask, (probably early to ask) but have you thought about accommodation yet and also is NTU your firm?
