Keeping / dropping a subject - UCAS

Hey there,

sorry if this question has been repeated before but I can't seem to find it under the search!

As far as I understand it is the norm for people to do 3 subjects for A2 from 4 at AS. However, how do universities and UCAS tell if someone has actually dropped a subject? As far as I've seen, you enter your AS grades onto the system and that's it.

I'm carrying on 4 subjects onto A2 but since this isn't the norm (at my school anyway) how will any university know? I'm asking because Kings College London makes offers using 4Alevels occasionally (aabb) which is slightly lower than the normal hardcore aaa

Cheers!

Mike

Under education, you'll be putting 4 subjects at A-Level instead of 3.

For those doing 3 at A-Level and 1 at Advanced Subsidiary, they'll have 4 different subjects under AS and 3 under A-Level

Hope that helps!
you add all A2's as pending, therefore they will be able to see that you are doing 4
you willl also have 4 predicted grades

Brilliant! Thanks, I couldn't find any information on the UCAS site about adding A2's as pending so I was unsure.
