Talk to your teachers about it. They may be willing to let you take the exams there. Or talk to a Connexions advisor if your 6th form can't help

You'd need to talk to the exam board to see if that's viable (eg it might not be a good idea to attempt coursework without a tutor to guide you)

Then you'd need to find a school/college etc to accept you as an external candidate for the exams themselves. This can be quite tricky as some boards will happily give you a list of local exam centres for your subject, others won't and you'll have to work your way through the phone book.

Alternatively you could do it through a distance learning provider, http://www.learndirect-advice.co.uk have a database

You can only take the A2 exam if you have already taken the As. The a2 exam has no formal qualification on it's own.
The best thing to do is to register as a private candidate. You'll need to find a centre(school or college) to provide you with a desk and seat to sit the assessment come exam time. Both the examination board and centre will charge you a fee.

It is up to you to print of the specification and obtain past papers.

The best thing to do is to contact the LEA(local education authority) and ask them for a list of centres within a closeish proximity to your location.
