Default nhs bursary+maintained grant
 
i am very confused....i am applying for child nurse in degree level...am in entitled to receive a means tested nhs bursary...am i entitled to receive a maintained grant???

Hi,

im currently studying audiology and i recieve a means tested nhs bursary but that means i am not entitled to a maintenance grant, though i get over £2,300 from the nhs, so its alright

no not for me, the bursary is from the nhs, the maintenace grant is from student finance , i get mt tution fees paid by nhs and get the bursary so i am not entitled to the maintenance grant from student finance.

yes, i get £2,346 every year in monthly installments, i just recieved my first installment which was for the first 2 months - £390 .
mine varies depending on the income of my parents and whether i live at home or not, i do so that is the maximum i get.

yes i live at home, and its around £15,000. I think you can calculate your nhs bursary on the net, try typing nhs bursary calculator into google maybe youll get something, or go on the nhs website, its just an estimate but it helps
