Hey guys, im wondering if there is a way i can get on xbox live/ use utorrent / play steam games on queens network. I have gone to the IT support but they wont open the ports or do anything for me. Thanks for your help in advance.

No chance I'm afraid, ports are closed. I had mine up last year.

Dammit. I heard that xbox live could be used if it uses the laptops internet through internet sharing. Is this true?

Althought obviously elms village had blocked the use of Xbox 360's I don't think they have fully blocked use of the ps3.

My ps3 currently lets me surf the web using its browser. But it wont let me connect to the playstation network because those ports are blocked.

However because of its browser i can enter my login details in the browser and open an internet connection, and the internet settings also let me enter a proxy IP.

Basically would anyone know a working proxy IP and port number i could enter on the ps3 to game online?
