So there's no need to take an ironing board. Safe.

What about like pots and pans, and stuff like that? What's supplied? Anything? I'm so slack, I don't know what to take. Oh well. I only live a half hour from the Uni so if I forget anything I'll be back like a flash, yo.

You need to buy all the essentials for cooking e.g. Pots and Pans, knife and fork, stiring spoons etc.
Also mugs, glasses, bouls, plates, tin opener.

You don't need an ironing board or iron, nor toaster and kettle.

For your room you need all forms of bedding.

I'm not exactly the tidiest person in the world either, I expect messiness and I'm looking forward to the freedom to be messy without people there to nag me about it. I'm hardly Kim and Aggie I just probably wont want to eat out of the same pots as someone who's never showered in their life. Different strokes for different folkes I guess.

Most likely.

The slope is mainly steps, accept for on the right were you have a sloping path but that only takes you to a certain level.
Its going to be a tough climb i'm afraid

Yeah its a nightmare, there's more steps than it looks like in the prospectus photos and they're a lot steeper too. Could take you all week worst case scenario

I'm well looking forward to that then. Starting to feel like East Slope was wrongly named and that I'm going to be trekking up and down a mountain each day!

Every single person who has just moved in there, that's who. There ain't gonna be room, buying a few crates and moving from flat to flat is probably a better idea.

Last year the RA's took people around the bars on campus. You're kind of left to your own devices once you get to the bar though...most people go on to Hothouse but the queue is LONG and it's better just searching for campus parties anyway...

Does anyone know which flats are 12 people and which are 6? And how likely it is to get East slope if you're a conditional, although i'll be doing an access course, so I think i'll know how well i've done immediately rather than waiting til august for results so surely that makes my chances better?
