Re: does cheryl cole really deserve 2 b the 'nation's sweetheart'?
I don't care for her at all really. I feel she is extremely overrated.
She is a mediocre singer and lets face it Girls Aloud are all a mediocre band...but she's not the best singer out of them.
She is fairly pretty naturally, but wears much too makeup and gives an unnatural appeal.
I don't like to be prejudice and although I dislike her accent...I'm not going to judge her on it.
She has never done anything extraordinarily talented or amazing. She won a spot in the girl band girls aloud which admittedly has taken her places I doubt she could have been taken with out. Although she was a member of the royal ballet school...so who knows? I do admit she has done extremely well for a girl for grew up on a council estate in Newcastle upon tyne.
To be honest without her high profile marriage to the footballer Ashley Cole, I doubt she would be as successful as she is. Nevertheless she seems to be gaining fans on x factor, which must be relatively good.
However she does appear to have an aggressive, rough and extremely common side to her. Remember the whole incident in 2003, regarding her racist remark and then assult of another girl. Not exactly role model material there. However this was early on in her career and she was bound to make a few mistakes.
However there's these constant bickers..true or not I'm not sure...between her and several other celebrities, which makes her seem quite childish.
For these reasons I don't particularly rate her. She's certainly not the nations sweetheart
