I think its a good idea to get comparison between the parties on specific issues. Problem is each party would want different questions, and if we had enough to compare on everything, then the thread would be too long, and barely anyone would read it.
True, but I think these questions won't split the parties that much and aren't things we tend to debate much here (suggesting they're not big priorities for any of the parties). For example, given that we're almost all liberal and passed a bill legalising all drugs, other than the PCP I'd be surprised if anyone was against legalising cannabis. Plus the tax/regulation/business question has so many different parts that either people skip answering bits or get a very high-level answer that doesn't say much. But they do cover a range of issues so should help voters decide on who to vote for.
