Pretty quick in my experience. Sometimes within 10 minutes if it is a bank transfer

Usually within 24 hours though (e.g. direct debit or card payment)

Why do you ask?

What sort of transaction is causing it to be 'wrong'? It can take up to three pays for some transactions to fully clear, so this could be the cause of the issue.

Sorted now lads, basically my balance was showing as significantly wrong on my online account (i.e several hundred pounds less than it should have been) but all transactions were shown, they said it was something that they messed up or just something that messed up, basically not my fault and nothing for me to worry about and they updated it to the correct information all round.

Thanks for the responses though, was a tad worried to say the least
