I'm pleasantly surprised to hear there are loads of older students going to uni too. I'm in my mid-20's, I'll be 30 when I qualify, I was also worried about feeling out of place surrounded by 18 year olds! I get the impression most 'mature' students feel the same regardless of age difference.

My friend's Mum qualified as a MH nurse a couple of years ago at the age of 48. She's the one who encouraged me to go back in to studying
