Postgraduate ASK US online event

We are running an online question-and-answer event on Wednesday 11 November 2009 for students interested in postgraduate courses at Kingston University.

ASK US gives you a taste of what it's like to study a postgraduate course at Kingston University. You'll be able to chat online to course leaders and current postgraduate students from all subject areas, wherever you may be in the world.

Entrepreneurship Experience seminar

Our guest entrepreneurs will speak about their experiences of establishing enterprises in poorer times, and managing them through rising markets.

Nick Williams is a personal coach who aims to provide thought leadership on work and inspiration. His experience spans 15 countries and nearly 2 decades. He is the author of numerous books on the subject, and his online business, www.inspired-entrepreneur.com provides tools and ideas for future entrepreneurs.

Centre for Working Life Research seminar

Visiting Professor Peter Totterdill is joint chief executive of the UK Work Organisation Network, founded in 1998. The presentation will report on a recent major study funded from Korea, a study of participation and engagement in Irish hospitals, and a recent European project on resilience, undertaken in association with the CBI. An additional perspective will come from Visiting Fellow Campbell Ford, formerly of ACAS, and joiny chief executive of UKWON.
