Possibly, but just about every regular poster on the Oxford forum can vouce for my reality. So, likely is a bit of an overstatement.
I Atrue Oxford student uses cogent argument not expletives full of vile and nasty comment. No you don't deserve to be a
TPS helper and I think you should resign from this position.
You wouldn't have an idea what a true 'Oxford' student is like, never having attended the university. Funnily enough you seem to be missing several vital points in your funny little world view.
1) You seem to be confused about what the entrance criteria are for Oxbridge. They boil down to "be really really smart". There's nothing in there about be a gentleman, or be nice or don't swear. Oddly, I only seem to get nasty when people come into a serious thread and make idiotic racist statements. I can assure you most Oxbridge students are thinking it even if they didn't say it.
2) You also seem to be under the mistaken impression that the use of insults destroys the cogency of an argument, the two are unrelated. As I pointed out you diverted the thread with a series of unsupported assertions and a trite saying. There's your cogent argument, not that you provided much to argue against. The fact that I also insulted you is quite possibly a reason for you to get offended but does not change anything else that I said.
3) I don't see how my ability to help people with their personal statements has anything to do with my dislike for your post in this thread. Once again you make an unsupported statement which is barely related to the subject matter at hand.
When talking about cogent arguments you shouldn't throw stones while living in a glass house, but hey, to be fair to you, I'm mildly surprised you knew what the term 'cogent argument' meant so congratulations.
