There is a huge debate on IB vs. A levels grading.
I don't know why but they want really high grades for IB.
Oxford for example want 40 and above (it's out of 45)
Warwick want 37 and above.
So many IB students find it unfair, because those scores are really really really difficult to obtain. Getting a 33 would like fantastic.
So IB is infact more challenging than A Levels. For starters, it has 6 subjects, in addition to Theory of Knowlege-philosohpy,plus CAS 150 hours of creativity, action, and service, and not to mention the loads of Internal Assements and essays and projects sent to the IB.
So yeah, life's unfair, what can we do?
If only our school offered A Levels...
