Default Can Unis give you an offer if no predicted grade?

Ok I already have AA in A2 and a B in AS

This year I am finishing the third A2 whilst self-teaching myself AS and A2 Further Maths.

Problem is I have no reference or predicted grade for Further Maths. Is it possible Uni's still give me an offer of say AAA with FM.

Or will they simply ignore it because of lack of reference / PG...

Any help appreciated

Yeah, I applied for medicine missing two predicted grades. You just gotta call up the unis and ask them if they'll consider you.

Well I will have AAB predicted from the three A-levels.

Further Maths was something extra as I have very little to do this year in my third year at college.

well you'll have to put further maths on your form and therefore your referee will see that it requires a predicted grade and they'll need to put one in.

I don't mind at all.

First year at college I was pretty much part time (Geography and Maths AS) as I felt my future career was in sport trying to turn professional.

After first year at college, I decided to pick up an extra As and put my academic studies first.

So this year I am completing my third A2, whilst self-teaching myself AS and A2 maths

I'm guessing when you were entering your details on UCAS you chose the independent applicant option? If so they won't expect you to have predicted grades so all's good I was lucky that my old sixth form let me enter with them so I get a reference and a predicted grade so I'm not sure if you have to find someone to write you a reference like an old employer perhaps? It should all be explained on UCAS...

edit: Although if you're still at college surely you're entering through them so you will be able to get all the things you need?

No I am doing it through college.

I am only in college now doing Economics A2. I couldn't join the Further Maths class as some of the modules I am doing they have already studied, and others aren't doing at all...

I didn't have a further Math class for most of the time I was at school, so pretty much all of it was self taught...I just asked the head of Math really nicely whether I could have a predicted grade and reference if I showed him some of my work...if you ask nicely enough they might be able to, plus they should have some idea from your Math grade how well you're likely to do.

Yeah I already graduated from IB, but I wanted to do med so I'm taking the extra classes I need that I was missing, and some of them start after christmas so I couldn't provide a predicted grade... I think the best way to find out is to call the universities you want to apply to and ask if it'll be a problem.
