Went to interviews at both, but not for business courses and remember this is only findings from a couple of days but... I'd pick HERTFORDSHIRE anyday.

Didn't like Beds, its mainly in Luton, its a ghetto. Other campuses are mlies away. Low entry requirements don't really bother me the way they do some people but they're pretty low there. Lots of pink-red houses with bricks outlined in white in Luton. Saw a lot of people using gambling shops. It just didn't feel safe to me, but you can make iup your own mind.
On the upside, pretty useful if you're an overseas student you're near an airport (although land is not cheap). If you love curry, there's loads of Indian restaurants in Luton. Good bursaries too.

Herts is on 3 campuses, Law is at St Albans, everything else is at De Havialland (sp?) and College Lane in Hatfield, a small town which is near London but a bit cheaper and less crowded. I think business is mainly taught at DeHav, where the 'best' accommodation and sports stuff are. I think business is seen as a good subject at Herts, but I'm not completely sure cos it doesn't interst me. Students say the nightlife is a bit lame, but there's a discounted retail outlet and a cinema and its 20 mins from London so its not the most boring place on Earth. They say they have limited car parking but as unis go its actually quite a lot.
