Oh and about the England comment if you live in a **** hole of an area as you obviously do then you will get those problems

And if you are underrating countries or even overrating them you actually have to have set foot inside the country. So not sure where you are getting your views about Somalia since it is pretty much a no go area.

And the Japanese chicks probably do not want to screw around with you because they do not find you attractive i.e. ugly That is what girls generally do

i "obviously" haven't visited any of those countries? and how do you know? i've already done more travelling than you ever will in your entire life so i'd be quite if i were you.

secondly, you obviously haven't visited all those places you claim to have visited. REVERSED. and that's obviously not me in my profile honey.

Why did you go to Somalia? And to be honest calling it 'overrated' is a bit odd, I doubt that many people have a good opinion of it as a holiday destination!

You have really been to Somalia? Really? You should regale us with stories about how you fought the pirates off then You spaz

I called you on your bull and you have just confirmed what I thought. Translation "you are talking out of your arse"

However I agree with you thoroughly about Laos, it's beautiful. I would go again.

Laos is stunning as long as you get away from the hell hole that is Vientiane. The buildings in Luang Prabang are lovely, majority of my pics were of them

Vietnam: I would not call it stunning but the history behind it is interesting and the chu chi tunnels too

Heh, no offence, but I've heard Adelaide is really boring compared to Sydney and Melbourne! My mate visited it to see his cousin, but ran out of thigns to do in 4 days so went to Perth instead.

I'm sure it's better than Canberra though, I hear that's rather dull....

Yeah that's pretty accurate tbh

That was my Adelaide pride coming through. Melbourne IS more exciting than here, I don't agree about Sydney though - can't stand the place x

Underrated:
Netherlands- I lived there 12 years, I enjoyed it, its better than the UK because you can actually bike safely and it has a much more better feel to it, with street football being played in every corner, awesome.
Germany- It was ok when I went there but people so look down on it because of Hitler. I agree with the OP in that prespect.

Haha not really. At least, not in the centre of Amsterdam! It's astonishing that tourists still hire those bikes, bad idea! Don't get me wrong, I really do love Amsterdam. Lovely city with a relaxed ambiance to it. Maybe I'm a bit biased, since I grew up here.
Agree with you on the street sports, although a lot of kids stay indoors and play fifa on their playstation..

I second this...I spent a week there a few years back and really enjoyed it. Low key, cheap and just nice. Just don't look at the Soviet housing blocks that much!

Overrated

Thailand - no, no, no it's not like 'The Beach'. It's a huge tourist trap!
Spain - the south coast has been destroyed.
Cambodia - ******* dangerous.
India - the armpit of humanity, full of dirty, dirty hippies.
Australia - full off drunk Irish backpackers.
Italy - smelly...plus Dominos do a better cheese&tomato 13 inch.

Underrated
Singapore - it's not expensive, it's fair. Loads to do.
Malaysia/Borneo- You can drink here! The diving is much better than in Thailand.
Laos - Luang Prabang is the nicest city in SE Asia.
Papua New Guinea - it's like the wild west, but with more guns and jungle.
Switzerland - not boring if your prepared to head up into the mountains.
Austria - like France, but more efficient.
France - proper backcountry skiing at it's best and pretty decent steak.
Canada - like the US, minus the idiots plus a BC which is just like a huge Yosemite.
Nepal - the escape route from India.
