You know how at the end of a job interview, sometimes they go: 'now what would you like to ask us'.

I always semi-freak out, I'm like 'what do I do now??'.

Lol I did the funniest thing today, I was interviewed for a volunteer job I'm going to start on Friday, I got it, but I still embarrased myself by asking about LUNCH BREAKS!!!

When I was clearly working from 1-4 once a week for a few weeks. *Facepalms*...

Anyway, so what are some questions you guys ask job interviewers? I'm gonna be looking for full-time jobs at libraries soon, so asking everyone I know I would have asked about superannuation but it wasn't a paid position so I left that one

I interview lots of candidates in my line of work,and the best questions i find are 1. ask about your salary if they not already explained it, we all know you work for the money at the end of the day, and 2. best of all, ask your interviewer what type of person are they looking for, throw the ball in their court and make them think, prove you to be a strong candidate in their eyes. Hope this helps

Ask the interviewer if there are chances for overtime, shows your keen for it !

I always ask what a general day is like for an employee (in the same position I'm applying for)

I ask also what are the best and worst parts of the job (in their opinion)

Thats about it really lol

Oh sometimes, I always try to remember something about the company from their website which I usually mention in the interview or ask about...

an example...I applied to a company recently that was in a top 100 fast-track company list in the Sunday Times, it was a great achievment for the company.

So in the interview when they asked me 'would you like to ask anything' I said 'I read about your achievment in the Sunday Times, that must have felt great!' and they were sooo happy to talk about it.

Ask about typical days, chances for progression, if they want you to take further qualifications etc

Do not ask about salary. Ask what challenges you are likely to face in the role. How the team is put together in terms of experience. Typical day of someone in the position.
