Well you have to take into account how many people most likely applied thanks to so many people being out of jobs. Though before there would only be students applying for jobs at places at McDonalds all the older unemployed people are now having too apply for jobs at places like McDonalds because they can't get jobs anywhere else. So basically a line from South Park describes this situation (puts on south american accent) They our Jobs!

I got rejected from McDonald's, even though I had 2 years experience as a crew member there and 4 as a floor manager.

I think it had something to do with my answers to the questions "What do you do in your spare time?" being "Touch myself" and "What was your proudest achievement?" being "Learning to wipe my own arse"

I figured the application form would go to my old store and I'd brighten was was sure to be a dull day; as opposed to Headquarters. Oops!

lol, they haven't lost anything, I doubt him working there would have made any difference to there sales. So yeah its not their loss it his, he's the only one that lost out here

In response to the OP, you could just be over qualified. I know a girl who got rejected from ASDA and they said it was because of this exact reason.

I applied for a vacancy twelve days ago and the status is still listed as "Application Received" on the website... and the vacancy is still being advertised. It's kind of frustrating, although at least they haven't rejected me - yet!

Someone pass me a big plate of fail. I've applied to about three Mcds and they have all rejected me.

I don't know whats going on. They keep on sending me a letter telling me that they have a rigorous process and I didn't make it through. It sounds like ******** to be honest. It's probably the questions I'm screwing up with.

I have an 'oje and interview' tomorrow at McDonalds, they say it will last 30 minutes as i booked it from a list of available time slots. Does anyone know what to expect from the interview? I know it varies from store to store, but are there any generics to this process?
