What then is the point of this subforum if it isn't to provide help for applicants? Everything is on google.

Im getting out of this before i dig myself a bigger hole.

My one and only point on it was that yes it great to give US a hand but spoon feeding the answer on the other hand isnt really what generally goes on here!

So true. I was really quite saddened by the people who were asking you to take it down and the people who were laughing at the possibility of lending a hand to someone, this sounds like I'm on a high horse but I wouldn't really expect that coming from people applying to a course that necessitates compassion and a willingness to aid people.

I just don't get it. So what if thousands of people get the same information? It's what you do with it that matters. I realise competition is high, but come on guys, be fair. Okay, the OP could've searched this forum and the rest of the web and no doubt find his answer, but asking Egypt to take his response down is a little OTT... Sometimes, getting an answer from the horse's mouth is a little more...effective.

But theres no legally bindings professional entity that dispenses 'google'.... anyone can use it anytime.

If you are curious about something enough to be interested in it as a lifetime career, you'd be prepared to do far more than simply google it. If you cant be bothered to do that, you aren't interested in the career and would be best to press 'Esc' now.

I see your point, but what is the point of this forum then, if people just get told to use google everytime they ask a question? I agree that some questions asked are obvious and could easily be solved on google, but many people who start threads want genuine opinions on issues from people who have been through it and who have first hand knowledge. I have certainly researched lots of stuff on the internet and have found out vast amounts on work expirience, but some things you simply cannot get on the internet, such as honest views from the junior doctors on here on particular issues or advice from people who have been through the admissions process.
I see what your saying but we may as well not have a forum if everyone is just told to go on google, and people cant be bothered to give thier opinion on the matter that is being questioned! (and dont question my interest in medicine purely because i agree with the view that we should answer peoples questions on here :P)

I find it quite challenging trying to get to the biscuits before the infection control nurses take them away.
