quick question- I've applied to summer intern position in markets, and was wandering do they send the psychometric test automatically or do they screen beforehand?

I think they will do a brief scan and then ask you to do the test. A more detailed check will be done after the test to invite people to interviews.

What's happening with Sempra? - I've been hearing that many of the more successful traders are looking for greener pastures due to remuneration issues with RBS, Barzini can you shed any light, what are the prospects of the trading unit going forward? I know they were good back in the day... but what about now...

Well, with the entire unit being sold, I don't see RBS trying to retain any kind of foothold in the commodities sector for the time being.

Trading prospects: nil.
Sales prospects: ramifications for a team or two.

It's a joint venture. RBS will share their stake in the business at some point over the next 4 years. It shouldn't have any material affect on the business.

I really hope the traders don't run off, otherwise incoming class is stuffed in terms of training IMHO
