It's not really that amazing, tastes like chicken, but knowing that it's snake, now THAT'S really what's gross. Dogs, no I have never tried it, and I really don't want to either. And also it seems that this video was taken in a city/province that speaks Cantonese so it's safe to say that's NOT really China, or at least majority parts of China, unless maybe it's Hangzhou or Hong Kong... Ok that's not important haha. I guess what I wanted to say was that don't think Chinese people are all sick and cruel and disgusting just because people do eat these things; it's not all people. For the most part, I wouldn't even touch those animals. But yes, sadly certain parts of China they do have some quite extreme dishes.
Can't they just be cantonese speaking people who went to a restaurant somewhere in China that served that dish? They don't necessarily have to be a city that speaks cantonese. It could be anywhere from a little village to a major city like Shanghai. But point taken, we can't assume that it's served everywhere and all chinese people eat it.
