Liverpool is *awesome*, I certainly wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
I don't know much about the mechanical engineering course but I have a few friends who are really enjoying it and I know it has been ranked very highly in the past couple of years (i.e. I remember it being no. 3 in one of the league tables) although that may not be the case for this year?

The University of Liverpool is considerably better than JM and Hope but it can depend on the subject.

Liverpool Hope university weren't even on the league tables.
