Wow... thank you for telling me this, considering I may be going to Birmingham city uni one day (speech and language therapy), and am quite a cheapskate (in other words I'd be looking for a cheap place to stay).

As a result of being brought up in Birmingham, I'm a bitter and twisted back-bedroom casualty that also avoids going out. It's dangerous. Unpleasant. We're talking about despicable people. Perry Barr is bad but is only the start. It almost feels like I can't go out by myself without attracting unwanted attention from vicious, lowlife scum.

I got attacked by an asian guy on a bus returning home. Unprovoked. Ended up with a black eye. Lucky he didn't have a knife.

Perhaps I'm too nice. I've never even killed a fly. Why are there so many losers around me? Does anybody know?
