do they look at whether you have attended an open day? I put down to go to one, but unfortunatly couldn't go, do you think this will hinder me?

also, a lot of people seem to have offers quickly, it's been over 2 weeks for me now and i haven't heard anything, including an acknowledgement, does this bode badly for me?
