Welcome to the LSE forum: where prospective and current students can discuss everything from the library stairs to the admissions process and the relevance of GCSEs.
You sent all grades from grade 10 to 12?? Is that what you meant?
Being said that , I took one grade 12 course in grade 10 which I got 96 in psychology. Can I submitt that even if it was 2 yes ago ?
Yes, of course, it is mandatory to submit all your marks from grade 10-12. I submitted four grade 12 credit marks: music (external), geography, law, and math. I got the grade 12 music credit in grade 8 even though it wasn't that great of a mark (91%). I will graduate from grade 12 with 12 credits (and NO i did not repeat/drop a grade) which is 6 more than what is required, I don't know why I have so many lol...all the courses I'm taking would't fit on my UCAS page...

wow thats a lot !
normally they would require us to submit 5 grade 12 marks right?
so you finished grade 12 courses in grade 10, started IB in grede 11.
Thanks jenna it helped alot. lets keep in touch !!

No, haha I didn't get all my grade 12 credits in grade 10. I got my music credit in grade 10 and the other three credits in grade 11. I think they want to see that you are working towards/ have finished at least six grade 12 marks.

Okay, let me clear this out.
you said
"Yes, of course, it is mandatory to submit all your marks from grade 10-12"
I have to submit all my mark from grade 10 to 12???????????????????
I thought you meant only grade 12 marks? I read the past thread and i was like what ??
LSE and other people said that I need 5~6 grade 12 mark not less than 90s. So for me , I'm taking 9 courses in grade 12 year but im gonna only submit 5 traditional subjects. You dont have to submit all courses that you have taken arent you ?
I really dont get uk universities admission process. it masses me up. i dont have idea what to and not to do .

Yea, that's what my guidance counsellor said. She said it was mandatory to submit marks from grade 10-12. You have to submit all courses that you have taken since grade 10. UK universities may want to see whether you have always been a top student throughout most of your high school career, although they will be a heavier emphasis on grade 11 marks and grade 12 interim grades.
Since you are only writing 3 AP exams, I don't think they'll base an offer on that [you'd probably have to write 5/6 AP exams]. You should still tell them that your doing AP courses though. So, they'll probably base it on your the transcript of whatever province you come from and give you a conditional offer with a percentage (which is actually much better...and easier to meet).
What do you want me to ask them? The mark they got in IB (?thats what you guys do???)
I'll ask them what they had to get.
No, I think cdiorhomme [the OP] would like you to ask what the Canadian students who got into LSE with only a provincial diploma [without having done the IB] got percentage-wise.
BTW, cdiorhomme, to answer your previous question, yea your guidance counsellor inputs your predicted grade. however, you input the actual grades [from gr 10-12] you got on your provincial diploma so far into UCAS and the codes of the ones you are completing this year.
At my school, we are not even allowed to read the teacher reference and our guidance counsellor does it for us.

SamLowry ,
I'm in school with only few AP courses and all regular canadian high school courses. I want to know what mark I need to get and what were the courses they submitted to LSE.also the number of grade 12 year courses.

YES, you have to submit all your marks from grade 10-12 and any gr 12 ones that you have gotten already + all the course codes of the courses you are taking now. Are you applying with an OSSD?
It's OK that you have a few 80s in grade 10, maybe not so in grade 11. Cause I got like a grade 10 half credit in physical education [gym class] when i was in grade 9 and got a 75%...eew.
