The deadline was yesterday... in terms of actual UK charts, they got to number 36 Intrigued to find out how much they raised for CIN when worldwide sales are taken into account!

Alex came back to twitter on saturday and was twittering away as a final promotional effort, @replying people, posting regular tweets and he was saying if they got to number 20 he would continue to use twitter all the time. They got to number 34 and he deleted it straight away. No messing.

I was disappointed... it's weird after him tweeting so much!

Now they've ended their bbc programs and not come in at as high a place as they thought in the charts, they havn't made a single video about it nearly a week later. They didn't even make a finishing video telling people what position they charted at. And as i mentioned earlier, as soon as it was all over, alex deleted his twitter account which he was so actively posting on as a promotional effort before that. Still supporting and loving them?

Why are you still going on about this?

They're not talking about the project anymore because it's done, and it'd start irritating people if they kept going on about it. If they were still making videos I warrant you'd be going 'Oh look! It's supposedly done but they're still flogging publicity out of it! Still supporting and loving them?'

Alex didn't have twitter before because he didn't like it and got it briefly for the final push. I don't understand why you keep being scathing of the 'promotional effort', it's the effort for a charity single. He has his own music, and if he started twitter as a promotional tool for himself (as you're implying) he would have kept it to plug his music. But he didn't, because he only used it briefly for Chartjackers.

Look, if you want to keep being angry and suspicious all the time I can't stop you, but I recommend you chill a bit.

Actually Johnny durham did an extra vlog for BBC switch just yesterday. and Alex did specifically state that he was only using his twitter to promote it and would only continue to do so if they got into the top 20. Plus I think that after 10 weeks of just solid promotion they just wanted to draw a line under it and get back to making the funny / thought-provoking videos that were their reason for their massive subscriber-base in the first place.
