i did get the offer on monday and the rejection on tuesday but dunno why they rejected me
I think I have an offer!
According to their letter inviting me to an open day they've "recently considered my application....our offer will be communicated to you as soon as possible via UCAS". Anyone else get one of these/and or know whether or not it's definitely an offer? And if so, how long it will take for their offer to be made 'official'?

Yeah, I think that means you'll have an offer soon! I've got a similar letter(but worded differently) for natsci saying something like "we have recommended youf or an offer" or something and "it will be conditional on you achieving the required grades.." and someone said it's definitely an offer, but they'll finalise the conditions later(but nost liekly to be the typical offer!^^).
And theyir UCAS updated about a week later with the offer so not too long to wait I guess!
Congrats! When's your open day? By any chance it's the 2nd of December? ^^

Thanks I hope so, and congrats on your offer! ! A week is such a long time, I want to know now The typical offer for my course is ABB-BBB so I'll keep my fingers crossed
Nope, my December open day is on the 9th, but I think I'll go to the February or March one just in case the impossible happens and I get an Oxford interview. Do you think Bath will be your firm?

Lol yeah, but it's nice that they've at least put us out of our miseries lol!( I was getting really worried when they didn't contact me for ages lol!
Ah I see, I take it that you're not applying for something sciency at uni then? =]
I do like Bath (and the campus looks amazing!) but I'm not sure really, it depends on whether Oxford and imperial will reject me or not(as they're really my hopeful firms...).
What about you? =)

I know, they didn't even acknowledge me, I was starting to think my application had got lost in the system or something
Haha no, Modern Languages and European Studies (French and Russian). Sciences aren't really my strong point, but natsci sounds cool.
I'm not sure yet either, as I've not visited any of the unis I've applied to except Oxford. Bath sounds amazing (it's rated really highly for my subject) and has a good chance of being my firm/insurance, but it depends on what Bristol and Durham decide.
