Don't worry about it! Enjoy the free cake you get from the department, chat with the tour guides, particularly the Scottish ******** with the curly hair, and enjoy the trip. Have fun!

Are you the aforementioned Scottish ********? I think you may have been my tour guide I was the only one from Scotland in the group; 'twas a shoddy turnout from the awesomer country

Hi!

The interview on 18th was unexpectedly pleasant :-) The interviewer asked me about my programming experience and interests connected with computing that I mentioned in the personal statement. Then he showed me many projects that the university is involved together with their students. The math questions covered mostly calculus. Most of them were basic and easy but he wanted me also what is a derivative formally. Then, when I got stuck once so he showed me how to overcome the obstacle I had met and I reached the result. He was pleased so we finished with mathematics. After that, there was my turn - I was to ask some questions and so I did. Finally, he told me I was a strong candidate and he will write a recommendation for admission tutors so I became extremely happy :-) And still I am. I wonder if an offer will come as he 'suggested' and when. And surprisingly the conversation took over 40 minutes. All in all, I am still amazed with the last sentences of the interviewer and I am looking forward any responses from the Imperial.

If I could give anyone an advice, I would recommend them to be themselves! There is no need to be nervous and stressed! Believe me! They are really nice people who have very positive attitude towards their potential students - at least it is my impression :-)

So, good luck on the 2nd of December everyone! And in February and March as well (There are also some interview days, aren't they?) !

Kind regards,
macqm

Hi there everyone,

I got my reply back from Imperial today, A*AAA offer. (I take 4 subjects.)

Anyone want it? I can't afford London.

Dan.

Heh, I'd take that, Apart from I don't do 4 subjects and I suppose I can't really afford London either :P

How did you hear from them? I had my interview on the same day as you and haven't heard from them as of yet. Been like 2 and a half weeks and they said I'd hear in 2-3 weeks. I'm not too hopeful.

So yeah did you hear by post/email or did it just go on your ucas?

They send you a letter before your UCAS track is updated. Don't worry about it, mine took 16 days to arrive but that was in February, so presumably they had fewer applications to sort through and could get back to me sooner. Anyway, even if you were rejected they'll still send you a letter, so you shouldn't worry about the fact that you haven't got one yet.

Cool, thanks for the info hopefully I'll hear next week.

I'm thinking kind of the opposite of Danltn, got an offer from Southampton but would really prefer Imperial.
