My offer from Loughborough was really high so I don't have an insurance anymore really. I'm going to phone them up and be really stern and voice my opinion on how unfair it is

did anybody get any acknowledgements before offers or w/e ? I sent my UCAS off a week ago and i've had acknowledgements/interviews from everywhere but here :/ I've applied to some high ranking unis too

Leicester don't send out acknowledgements!

I got a letter about a week ago from Leicester about UCAS Physics open days, which I found odd. What's the point in sending this to everyone who applies, if they don't give you an offer obviously you're not going to go! Surely it makes more sense to give this information in the letter detailing their offer?

Because Leicester is asking for ABB - and if I get into Birmingham which is AAB and where I want to go I'll make that my firm choice and leave Leicester as my insurance in case I don't end up getting my predicted grades!
