Also don't forget to deflea them often, my kittens get an injection at the vet, AND don't forget to deworm, many people forget this, also invest in a decent house spray

Consult your vet about this, you REALLY have to deflea them often, its so important

thanks. ill make sure we get a comb.

Be careful what you feed your cat as some 'human' food might be harmful. A Cat's body is adapted to a carnivourous diet. According to Cat Nutrition, feeding cats a diet high in carbohydrates (like weetabix) can give them diabetes mellitus.

My cat hasn't yet figured out that there is glass in our back door, not just space for her to walk in through, so she is constantly banging into it.
Even though there is a cat-flap. Bless 'er.

My cat is not that smart (despite that she is the boss even over the dog!) but she's a complete softie, one of those cats that you could probably dress her up in clothes and stick her in a dolls pram and she wouldn't care. She has learnt the art of deception though, and likes to act like she's starving even when she's just been fed (though again, not that smart-she even does it when you were the one that already fed her!) She's very cuddly, (and fat ) and I'm going to miss her like crazy when I go to uni.

My sister's cat on the other hand comes and fetches you and meows until you follow her to wherever she wants something doing (a door opening, a tap turning on...) She obviously has far more brains, and I swear she understands every word you say.

Very little. Cats are fairly unintelligent animals.

I very much enjoyed this thread. Can't wait until I move out of home and can get a cat of my own.

hey i left a cereal of special k, banana and strawberries out earlier, and i'd only just turned my back and the cat was licking it all and stealing a piece of banana, they will eat or try to eat anything they see, you can't keep your eyes and control their diet 24/7

True, if the animal is stupid enough to eat something it shouldn't then so be it. I was just trying to give advice to be aware and careful of feeding cats carbohydrates.

I gave that to my kittens, and they started getting diaorrhea from it, far too rich for them. They have pets at home 'natural' range now and gobble it up

My sister left a turkey sandwich on the coffee table. Reg jumped up and ate the mayonaise and left the turkey. Weirdo
