    Queen Mary Nightlife and social life
    Hi, im trying to decide between queen mary and birmingham for which to put as my firm offer, and was wondering what the nightlife is like for QM students? Is it any good and what sort of places do you normally go to? thanks

    Well it's in London, so unless you're really unsociable, you'll have a good time. Several pubs in the immediate vicinity of the uni, as well as the SU and so on, and then there's central too...

    About the only downside to it is that if you want to go clubbing to a decent place you have a trek there and back but thats just part of London living. Aside from having to catch nightbuses back and the like, the nightlife is really good. Take it from a resident of Torquay it's better than than Devon

    Just found a new bar literally 5 mins away from campus just today. The amount of places available is amazing

    What do you count as a decent place? There's plenty of decent clubs around Shoreditch/Old Street that are definitely not a trek!
