I live in mauritus and have a orange my.t connection . I can create a dedicated server through port 27015 but others cannot connect to my server even though i gave them the ip from whats my ip .com

I'm not an expert on CS 1.6, but once you've set up your game, open up the console and use the console command "serverinfo". That might give you the correct IP that should be passed on to your friends

it just shows *gamedir cstrike

I'd quote either of the two admins of the (short-lived) TSR CS server to get their attention here as they'd probably have a better idea than me, but both of them haven't been around in a couple of months

Type "Status" in the console.

The TCP/IP will show there as well as a load of other crap - (players connected etc).
