Confused about titration calculation for my upcoming practical
Today we titrated MIO3 (unknown iodate) with sodium thiosulphate. The question is to find the concentration in moldm^3 of MIO3.
They give you the concentration of sodium thiosulphate, which is 0.130moldm^3, and the volume I used was 21.80cm^3.
For the MIO3 they give you the concentration in gdm^3, and the volume= 25cm^3. Now, I tried finding the moles of MIO3 and then calculating the concentration with moles/v=c, but I got 0.000106moldm^3, which is really low... Can somebody help me out? Do I have to do something with the gdm^3?

Re: Confused about titration calculation for my upcoming practical
Well you haven't give us a vast amount to go on, but think about the number of moles of sodium thiosulphate you added to the solution. The value you got sounds about right, if anything it should be around 0.00106 M I believe, but without the values i can't really say for sure.
