Foundation Year advice
Hi there,
I'm currently at the end of a foundation year (in Engineering) at Brighton and I've got an offer for an Engineering degree at Sussex starting september this year. That offer just states that I need to get 60% overall this year and it states no retakes.
I'm on the course as I stopped maths at GCSE (My A-levels were Physics DT and Chemistry (AS in English)) and couldn't go onto a degree so most of the stuff on the course I'd already covered which led me to taking the attitude of "Already know that" and I completely messed up the year. Not so much the exams but definitely the coursework.
I've got my last exam tomorrow but I've worked out that even if I get 100% in all my final exams I wont get 60% overall...I'll most probably pass, but that gap between 40% and 60% means I've passed but can't really do anything.
What can I do, if anything? Seriously freaking out here. Thanks.
