Not going to uni until next year, Do I have to notify SF?
    Basically as it says.............

Didn't get in this year, trying again next year. Have already applied for SF for the uni I was unsuccsessful with and am just awaiting a signature from them which I won't get as I'm not going.

Do I have to notify SF? There is section 6 in the declaration for changes that says "Leaving/Suspsending study" which I don't think is applicable as I havn't started yet.

Questions like "When did you leave or suspend your study?" aren't really answerable. I havn't left, I'm just not starting

Also, "Have you told your university or college that you have left your course?" - They should already know since they have rejected me.

So will anything happen If I just ignore SF? or should I fill in this section of the declaration anyway.

Also I plan to try again with this course next year, will I need to sign up again with SF?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Yes you need to let them know. Ring them up and explain.

If you ignore the matter could be counted as fraud because for all they know you are in University and still claiming the money.

and yes, I think you will have to sign up again.

They will know I'm not in university as I won't have obtained a signature from my university which is necessary.

The letter I got from SF says "You must sign and return the enclosed declaration in the enclosed return envelope immediately. We cannot pay you until we receive this form."

    Also..................

"Your first payment will only be made after your attendance is confirmed to us by your university or college"

As I won't even be on their register I won't be marked as attending.

You need to let them know, there's a change of circumstances form (on their website somewhere) you need to fill out and send to them to let them know you aren't going to university this year.

You can (and should) use the same account to reapply next year.

You need to let them know. I didn't get in last September, didn't bother telling them, and then in January it turned out I needed to fill in the 'Change of circumstances' form before I could start another application.

Yes you literally fill in only one question, but you still have to.

Fill in page one, all the details etc, and tick 'I have left my course or suspended my studies.' Skip to section 6 and tick No for 'Did you begin your course?'. And that's all you have to do. Sign, date and send off.
