I would like to post a thread about the best film scores, not sure whether it should go in Music or Film. I'd go for Music but just thought I'd better check!

Hmm. I see entirely where you're coming from and it'd happily feature in both. It might get a better response in Film though? It does depend what the thread is about, I'll go for a hunt for it now.

You've had a fair number of replies in a short space. I just get the impression you'll get a more diverse/interesting range of answers in Film.

Yeah, me too. I thought it would be slow to get replies but obviously not!

Well, if it's okay with the mods, it seems to be fine in Film.

Yeah, that's film it's one of those fine line things between "favorite film soundtracks in general" and "favorite film soundtracks by John Williams". Sorry to complicate

To be fair, you've highlighted something there that comes up from time to time - a thread may seem like it can fit in two different forums, but it might be better off in one forum than in another, and sometimes just slight alterations here and there can alter where it would "belong". In cases where it can be questioned, in the past I've sometimes asked for them to post a draft copy of what the OP would contain as that'd give a better idea of where it'd be best suited.
