    Do guys need dinner or lounge suits for events?
    For things such as Freshers Ball, etc. Which suit is needed? If it's a dinner suit then would it be better to rent it in the case of infrequent use?

    Theres no specific dress code for anything. Most people wear normal suits. Hall balls a fair few people just wear shirt and trousers. Dinner suit is most certainly not needed
