Re: Driving from Birmingham to London - Tips?M6 to M1 is the quickest way for you. But near the Luton junctions, there are road works with speed limit set at 50mph which roughly goes on for 15 miles I think. It will take you roughly 1 hour 30 mins. Alternative route is M42, then M40 but it depends on what area of London your traveling to.(Original post by e-lover)

catch the train instead since its easier to get to london without having for find a damned parking space -

Check your blindspot(s) when changing lanes.
