    For those who are dyslexic
I thought this thread could be for people to share their experiences?

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...all_Me_Stupid/

I just finished watching that program, and found it really interesting and made me think - who else has Dyslexia? What are your ways of getting round it? Do you dislike the academic subjects because of it?

For me - I get 25% extra time in exams, and a computer. I have a spell checker on the internet - so I know when I spell a word wrong constantly!! If I hand write (im very slow) and have to write a word thats tricky I end up putting random letters in the word (normally 'g' or 'h') to make it the length of the word I think it should be. Oh there is so many things wrong with my learning :') But I still choose the essay subjects.!

Does anyone else do a language who is dyslexic? Because I find this the most challenging - it's hard enough remembering to spell english words - let alone french! However I can speak the language fine when im in the country (I can't translate the language though as I don't know the equivalent words).

Anyway, share experiences, it's nice not to feel alone..
