Warwick Finance and Economics or UCL Management?
I have just received offers from both courses. I would appreciate if anyone can give me some advice as I can't decide between them. UCL is more reputable generally, but the management course is relatively new. Warwick's course seems to be better, but its reputation is not as good as UCL globally.

If you don't mind me asking, what is your profile like? How high grades, where did you do your undergraduate and in which subjects?

Doesnt' really matter for the question you asked, but I am considering applying for the Finance and economics course and so I'd really like to know how you did it.

And personally, I'd go for finance and economics. Warwick has a great reputation too.

I don't think UCL is more reputable than Warwick for anything related to business, management, banking or finance. I suspect the reverse is instead true. Maybe UCL is more recognized or well-known than Warwick in general, but for those who care and have heard of both unis, they view both equally.

They are two totally different courses...

You should choose according to your career aspiration.

UCL MSc Management is a new course but it is a course in collaboration with the LBS and is taught by LBS scholars. Warwick MSc Finance and Economics has an established reputation.

thanks for the above replies. Yes, they are different courses, but i am fine with working either as a MT in a corporation or analyst/trader in a bank. That's why i can't decide between them. From the perspective of employers, which course/uni is more prestigious?

I think the Warwick MSc Finance & Economics > UCL MSc Management.

Thanks for your reply Mr. Roxas. Is there anyone who has a different opinion?
P.S firming Warwick's offer requires 1000 pounds deposit. (the opportunity cost is quite high)

I doubt Msc Management will get you anywhere near S&T. But don't be fooled to believe it will boost your profile for MO/FO IB positions.
But you sound like you just want confirmation to go to UCL. So go there.
Btw I highly doubt UCL is much more renown. At least outside of UK Warwick is more famous than UCL.
