    Thermogenics (Fat Loss Pills) THOUGHTS?
Hey guys. I am the kinda person to say NO WAY to some thing that could be classed as a fatloss pill. But i need to lose fat fast (alot by september) and one is looking tempting. I feel like a tosser because im 17 lol but i need to lose it and i am not sure what to do. What are your thoughts on them, this one has gotten great reviews from what i have seen and has no real side affects (just reactions to caffiene in the pill is all) http://www.sportsnutritionuk.co.uk/p...-Capsules.html Thoughts? Cheers

Most fat loss pills are complete rubbish and often provide no results. You will get a lot of people telling you that a good diet and regular exercise is the best option, and no doubt they are right.

However if you are set on using fat burners then Hot Rox Extreme are very potent.

Ive used these before, combined with good diet and regular workout they really increased fat loss. They are expensive, side affects seemed to include increased heart rate, sweating and burps that taste like raspberries. Avoid taking on a full stomach at all costs.

Im not aware or any age restrictions.

I took them when i was 19. Cant imagine it being much different to at 17. Although reading up about them will give you a much better answer than i can.

Why don't you just eat less/healthily and exercise? You have less than 5 months and you can make a dramatic change by exercising everyday.
Stop being lazy and actually move around, you're young and have no excuse for not getting up off of your arse.
Never go for a short-cut, things like diet pills can be really bad for you... Nevermind weight loss pills.
LOL i have been excersising ..........HARD. Even hitting the gym after school ect and my diet has actually been incredible so i am putting effort in. I need to lose fat for rugby season which starts in september and i need to drop about 2.5 stone. I will not make that but i want to get as close as i can as i am being drafted to a diffrent position which requires speed and agility. I need any boost i can get. Please dont tell m i am not putting any effort in, i have been putting a ****load in.

5 months is more than enough time to lose 2.5 stone in.

Post your diet and training regime and someone like powerlifter or someone else will give you tips and tell you where you're going wrong.

When you started the thread, I thought you had more than that to lose.

    Yeah I was gonna say.

To me, I don't know about anyone else, but 5 months (or however long it is) isn't losing fat/weight "fast". You're going to have to stay pretty dedicated sticking to the task and take it as a long term goal. Does also depend on your stats as well.

You obviously want to try and make (explosive, for rugby I guess) strength gains in that time so no reason why you can't do that.

I've lost 1.5 stone in 3 months whilst making some decent gains (feel free to check out my blog if interested) and can't see why 2.5 isn't do-able in that time frame, so long as you don't expect magic and set realistic goals.

Regarding thermogenics - i'm tried one before but noticed very little difference myself. Can be expensive and can account for very little.
I tend to find things like HIIT, a sustainable program and diet will get you 99% of the way there. That said, i'm all for trying things out.

    Good luck fella.
