Law Research helpI'm stuck on one question for a research part of coursework so I was wondering if anyone knows the answer or can help me find it.
7. What Statutory Instrument brought section 4 of the Stock Transfer Act 1963 into force?
I've searched and searched and find too many things it's just making my head hurt! I've come to this answer : The Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Consequential Amendments and Repeals) Order 2001
BUT I think it might be wrong, so if anyone can help please I would be very grateful! -

Re: Law Research helpWhat you've found there is one of the SIs which amended section 4, not the one which originally brought it into force.
Which research site are you using? On Lexis there is an "initial commencement" paragraph just under the provision and then a reference to the relevant SI.
