    HATING Student Finance! Help!!
Okay so basically, i completed my application for student finance at the end of april and was asked to give evidence for myself : either passport or original birth certificate.
So i chose birth certificate and sent it off with all of the cover forme etc on the 4th of may.

I still haven't heard anything off them about what amount of money i will be entitled to etc, and on my status it says that they are still awaiting my evidence, even though i sent it almost 2 months ago

What should I do? and what do i do if they;ve lost my birth certificate ? helpp

Phone up but do it quite early because they'll have you on hold for ages! I was on hold today and they actually hung up on me.

If you have a passport use that as you don't have to send it off, you just type the details in such as passpart number, if you don't have one, as others have said phone them

EDIT: phone them anyway as you will need your birth certificate back
