    uclan accomodation help needed!
Hi guys i havent actually applied for accomodation yet but i shall be doing that very soon. As ill be comming to uclan on train i wont exactly be able to bring everything with me. therefore stuff like my pillow and duvet is out the question as it will take up too much space within my luggage so i was wondering if there are any places nearby etc where i can buy my duvet and pillows etc for a good night sleep??

Yup, theres a few! T J Hughs is just in friargate shopping centre which is right next to the train station. They do all that sort of stuff. I've never actually looked but I assume Wilkinsons would do that too, which is along the main high street in town, which is befoore the main campus. TKMaxx is in Friargate too....
Cant think of other places, but theres a few suggestions for you there.
    Hope that helps.

Argos which is in Fishergate Shopping Centre (not to be confused with The Mall). This is also where TK Maxx is (NOT on Friargate as the previous poster suggested). You can find the entrance along Fishergate which is the main high street, Starbucks and H Samuel are next to the entrance.

It's Fishergate Shopping centre that's next to the train station, not friargate. the one on friargate is The Mall

yeah as from what i remember when i last was a preston train station was that one exit leads you to the place where the taxis are and the other exit is like right opposite fishergate shopping centre right? and i can remember walking down and im sure i did see tk maxx in a distance. Unless its all changed now as this was about 2 years ago lol or if im just totally mistaken. Nevertheless thanks for all the replies so far
